Forget, Jean-Claude (JC)

It is with a heavy and broken heart that we announce the passing of Jean-Claude (JC) Forget in his 71st year after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. JC is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Therese Forget. JC is survived by his best friend and companion of 34 years, Marilyn, and family; Lana (Rick) Weasner, Chris (Jen) Walsh and grandchildren: Zachary, Tyler, Ashley, Keegan, Avery, Mikayla, Jesse and Ally along with brother Art (Nicky) Forget, sister Louise (Pat) Huot and numerous nieces and nephews.

JC grew up in Port Colborne and had been an employee of General Motors. At the time of his passing he was a long time employee of Span Medical Products in Beamsville.

JC was a dedicated volunteer with Ontario Special Olympics for over 30 years.

The family would like to thank the staff of the St.Catharines Niagara Health System; 5A Surgical Unit for their devoted care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to; Juvenile Diabetes or St.Catharines Ontario Special Olympics community.
