Obituary of Betty Houtby

HOUTBY, Betty (nee Moore) It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mother on October 17, 2016 at Tabor Manor in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late George "Harry" (1995). Loving mother of Susan and Grant (Liz). Cherished Nanny to Patricia (Greg), Kevin (Nicole), Lindsay (Jordan) and Hannah. Great Nanny to Penelope, Teagan, Avery and Rory. Betty will be missed by her brothers-in-law Bill (Iris), Walter (Ana), Fred (Irene), sister-in-law Betty Houtby and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Dawn and grandson David. Betty's family would like to thank the Staff at Tabor Manor for their love and compassion. Friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
