Obituary of Vera Michelle Hatala (nee Gizuk)

Hatala, Vera - On Monday August 29, 2016 at Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Home at the age of 84 years. Lovingly remembered by her late husband John of 52 years. Loving mom of Judy McEwen (Kim), Cathy Leger (Tom) of Aurora, Susanne Jakubowski (Michael) of Burlington and Andrea of Toronto. Devoted Grandma of Alan, Cory, Mary, Roman, Rebecca and Nicholas. Survived by her sisters-in-law Malva Gizuk, Emily (Rheal) Vincent and many loving family members. Predeceased by her brother John Gizuk. The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks for the wonderful care and support to our mother by Jane and the staff at Ina Grafton Gage long term care unit. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Thursday between 1:30 - 4:30 pm. Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home at 4:30 pm with a reception to follow. Cremation and private family burial has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to Niagara Ina Grafton Building Fund or Hospice Niagara in Vera's honour.
