Obituary of Desiderio Vit

VIT DESIDERIO Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 at the Hotel Dieu Shaver in his 75th year. Beloved husband of the late Irma. Loving father of Paola and Dennis. Cherished Nonno of Michael. Sadly missed by brother Silvio, sisters Maria and Mafalda, and sister in law Pia. Desiderio is survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends. Desiderio was a proud and active member of Club Roma Seniors Centre, Club Fogolar Furlan and the St. Alfred's Italian Catholic Centre. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Friday April 16, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and from 10 - 10:45 a.m. on Saturday April 17. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Desiderio will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. with cremation to follow. If so desired, donations made to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by his family.
