Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Denham

Denham, Margaret Elizabeth(nee: Furlong): On Wednesday July 15, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 89th year. Beloved wife of Charlie for more than 67 years. Loving mother of Jim (Michelle) Denham. Cherished grandma of Richard (Amy), Victoria Cowan, Katharine Cowan, Robbie, and William, great grandma of Lucas and Max. Marg is survived by her sister Vivian Barnett, niece Sandra Jackson Drago (Russell), nephew Gord (Sharron) Jackson,great nieces Hilary and Karlynn, great nephews Matthew and Kyle. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Gertrude Furlong, her son John Denham (2006), sister Dorothy Jackson, brothers in law Jack Barnett, and Ivan Jackson, sister in law Violet Stevenson Beach, brothers in law Jack Stevenson, and Clarence Beach. She will be sadly missed by her dear friends Norma, Rita, and the rest of the Kushog Lake Happy Hour crowd. She was a former resident of Mississauga, employee of the Sunbeam Corporation, and past president and board member of the condominium corporation at 244 Lakeshore Rd. George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines have been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Denham. Friends may call on Sunday July 19, 2009 from 2-4p.m., and Monday July 20, 2009 from 11 am - 12:30 p.m. with the service to follow in the chapel. Memorial Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Lincoln County Humane Society, would be appreciated by the family.
