Obituary of Walter Waloshuk

WALOSHUK, Walter - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Hotel Dieu Shaver on Saturday July 11, 2009 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Mary. Loving father of Lisa Filipetti. Cherished grandfather of Brittany and Bryson. Walter is survived by his sisters Rose Murdoch, Agnes Fedorkow and Florence (Wayne) Morris and brother Roy (Janice) Fedorkow. Predeceased by his brother William (Arley) Waloshuk and Andrew (Shirley) Fedorkow and sisters Nellie (John) Unruh and Vera (Michael) D'Amelio. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Tuesday July 14, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church on Wednesday July 15, 2009 at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Hotel Dieu Shaver would be appreciated by the family.
