Obituary of Gastone A. Francoise Brune

BRUNE, Gaston Ansbert Francoise-Passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5th, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at 10:15a.m. Beloved husband of Nina. Cherished brother of Mimi (Bert) Davesne of Niagara on the Lake, and Bernard (Claudine) Brune and Dr. Daniel Brune of France. Loving brother in law to Dr. Pacifico Geronimo of Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Miguel (Joy) Geronimo of California, Trina (Ramon) Isidro of California, Leon (Elvira) Geronimo of California and Anthony (Dinna) Geronimo of Las Vegas Nevada. Special uncle of Christine Davesne-Folliguet of France, Bruno (Ofelia) Davesne of Mississauga, Sylvie of France and Nadine (Jean Pierre) of France. He will be sadly missed by his grandnieces Jessica, Natacha and Julia all of France and his grandnephews Maxime of France, Joseph of Mississauga and Thomas of France. Predeceased by his brother Maurice and his sister Nelly. Gaston loved life and enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing and hunting with his buddies. A special thank you to Barb Jones of CCAC, and to Fern, Darren, Lloyd and Sylvia of the Red Cross for all their care and compassion. Gaston is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 12th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Sunday, July 12th at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria on Monday, July 13th at 11a.m. Rite of Committal at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
