Obituary of Michael Zak

Zak, Michael: It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of our father on June 25, 2009, at Trillium Health Centre in Mississauga in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Ludwika, Lucy. He leaves behind his daughter Halina; and granddaughter, Michelle. He will be missed by his family and friends. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church as well as the Royal Canadian Legion, Polish Branch #415. Friends may call at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. On Sunday June 28, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be said at 3 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Monday June 29, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
