Obituary of Mark Andrew Korody

KORODY, Mark Andrew Died peacefully after a long illness with his family by his side on Monday, June 15, 2009, at Versa Care Centre, in his 62nd year. Dearly loved brother of Jan (George) Wheeler, Kevin (Mary) Korody, and Jeff (Elaine) Korody. Predeceased by his mother Gwendolyn Jackson, his father Andrew Korody, his stepfather William Jackson and his nephew and Godson Reco Wheeler. Also survived by his nephews Chris, Benjamin, Derek, Dylan, Ryland and his nieces Emily, Rochelle and Miranda and their families. Also survived by his aunts Viola Gorth, Pat Korody and by several cousins. In accordance with Mark's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., reception to follow. Special thanks to the staff of North 2 Versa Care Nursing Home for going above and beyond the call of duty and to Dr. Sandra Hartman for her wisdom and understanding. In lieu of flowers, donations to the March of Dimes, Versa Care Centre or to Dr. Sandra Hartman Palliative Care would be appreciated by Mark's family.
