Obituary of Ian Fox

Fox, Ian: With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Ian on Sunday June 14, 2009 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, in his 65th year surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Mae for more than 42 years. Loving father of Iain (Kristin) and Kirsty (Mike). Cherished and proud Granda of Ella, Callum, Corson, and Nikki. He is survived by his brother Matt (Margaret), his sisters Elaine (Eric) MacKay, Janice (Darren) Cropper, and his sister in law Rita (Bobby) Gray.Ian was loved by many nieces and nephews. Ian was a longtime member of the Imperial Veterans Association. He enjoyed golfing, and loved spending time with his family ,especailly his grandchildren. Ian is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St until Thursday, when a service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
