Obituary of Petro Struk

Struk, Petro - Surrounded by his loving family on Monday May 11, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 94th year after a brief illness. Predeceased by his wife Ludmilla (1994). Loving Tato of George and Allan. Cherished Dido of Melanie Templeman (Brad) of Mississauga, Stefan (Delphine) of Kelowna, B.C., Mark (Tricia) of Houston, TX, and Larisa (Todd Springer) of Vancouver. Devoted Great Dido of Jayden, Jackson, Eve, Avery and Asher. Survived by his sister-in-law Alka and extended family members in Ukraine. Petro was very active throughout the Ukrainian community and Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street until Wednesday at 11am. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Panachyda will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 8pm. Divine Liturgy will be on Wednesday at 11:30am at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 14 Rolls Avenue. Interment will follow the church service at St. Volodymyr Cemetery (Oakville). Memorial donations may be made to the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church Building Fund in Petro's memory.
