Obituary of Stella Lazaruk

LAZARUK, Stella (Barnesky) It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother Stella on Friday, May 8th at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS in her 88th year. Predeceased by her loving husband John (1991),her dear daughter Muriel (2004) Feschuk and much loved grandson Lawrence (2007). Beloved mother of Lawrence (Sue), Jerry (Rosalie) and Linda (Brian) Patterson, and mother in law of Brian Feschuk. Cherished Baba of Scott (Sue), David (Andrea), Jennifer (Brent), John (Stacey), Sandra, Mark (Nicole), Kristen (Brad), Joanne and Susan (Larry). Great Baba of James, Will, Oscar, Grady, Delphine, Maggie, Emeline, Peyton, Jacob, Benjamin, Mackenzie, Lucas and Austin. Also survived by her dear sisters Virginia (Joe) Borody and Mildred Moroz. Predeceased by her parents John and Maggie, her sisters Nancy and Mary, and brothers Andrew, Danny and Murray. Stella's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, May 10th from 1-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated from St. Julia Roman Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Avenue on Monday, May 11th at 10am. Rite of Committal to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home chapel on Sunday at 2pm. If desired, memorial donations to Community Care or the Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre would be appreciated by the family.
