Obituary of Antonio Credico

CREDICO, Antonio "Nonno" It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and Nonno, peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, April 15th, at the youthful age of 100 years. He enjoyed the comfort of his own home all these years with a strong sense of family and friends. Nonno was a true intellect with sound advice and infinite wisdom. His secret to longevity was hard work, love thy neighbour, a good plate of homemade pasta and a few glasses of his wine. Nonno was born on October 4, 1908 in the small town of San Giovanni in Galdo, Campobasso Italy. He immigrated to Canada in January 1967 with his loving wife Adelina to reunite with his family. He was a man with great vision, strong morals and lived his life to the fullest until the end. Antonio was predeceased by his beloved Adelina (1995), the love of his life who he still loved and dearly missed until his death. He will be terribly missed by his two sons Salvatore (Caterina) and Giovanni (Maria). Nonno leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Antonio, Lucy, Tony (Josephine), Mike (Sarina) and Carmelina (Al). Great Grandpa will be missed by his 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by 2 brothers in Alberta and 1 sister in Italy, and predeceased by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
