Obituary of Caren Bergsma

BERGSMA (Jeffrey), Caren June - Passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday April 15, 2009 in her 54th year. Cherished wife and best friend of Don Jeffrey. Beloved mother of Andy (Karen) Bergsma and step-mother of Maria Elliotson, Linda (Bob) Levitt, Lawrence Morabito, Chris (Sharon) Morabito and the late Darren Jeffrey . Precious daughter of Henry and Inge Martens. She will be fondly remembered as Nana and Great Nana Caren by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Gary (Donna) Martens, niece of George (Erika) and Victor (Mary Beth) Jonz and aunt of Christopher and Matthew Martens. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Friday April 17, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A private Celebration of Life will be held with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation Oncology Clinic would be appreciated by her family.
