Obituary of John Albert Leish

Leish, John Albert: Suddenly on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Doreen (nee: Anderson). Loving Father of Jim (Carole), and Julie Leish. Cherished grandpa of Nicholas, Daniel, and Jessica. Dear brother of Jane (Andy) Schertzer and Marilyn and the late Charles Regan. John will be sadly missed by his dear friends Warren and Annetta Atkinson and Family, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. John was employed at TRW for over forty years and retired in 1991. He was a member of The Old Boys Lacrosse Association and spent many years coaching in the CYO Hockey League. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the times he spent with his family and friends. He will be sorely missed. John's family will receive their friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines, on Monday April 5, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday April 6, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the St. Catherine of Alexandria Cathedral. Vigil prayers will be said on Monday 2:30 p.m. Memorial remembrances may be made to the charity of ones choice.
