Obituary of Anthony Peter Horeczy

HORECZY, Anthony- Peacefully passed away with his loving family by his side on Thursday, February 25th, 2010 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Marjorie. Cherished father of Sharon (Mike) Morley, Debbie (Frank) Young, Christopher (Cathie) Horeczy, Larry (Peggy) Horeczy, and Rick( Shelley) Horeczy. Cherished grandpa of Jeremy , Jennifer, Kristen, Greg, Thomas, Andrea, Brian, Emilie, Andrew, Koby, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Joseph and Christine. Loving great grandpa of Hunter. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Frank (Dora), Joe, Ed (Eileen) and his sisters Helen (Derwyn), Jean, Fran and Vickie (Ernie). Thank you to the staff at the Henley House (Lakeside) for their care and compassion. A special thank you to Tony's angel Jordin. Tony is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Friday at 8:15p.m. in the funeral home. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday at 1p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
