Obituary of Rosina Boccia

Boccia, Rosina (nee: Broccolo) Suddenly on Friday February 5, 2010, peacefully at her home, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late John Boccia. Loving mother of Carmina Osborne (John), Anna Arlia (Settimio), Carla Graham (Dan), Ignazio (Tina), Antonio (Carol), Elizabeth Petro (Michael), John Jr. (Donna), Valentino (Angel) and Rosalie (Sean). Cherished nonna of Joseph, Sabrina, Maria, Mario, Chastity, Diana, Krystina, Julia, Nicholas, Jonathan, Ryan, Emily, Sarah, Nicole, Kristen, and Brittany, and great nonna to many great grandchildren. Rosina is survived by her sister in law Gilda Perrone (nee Boccia). Predeceased by her sister Lucia, and brothers John, Mario, and Vince. She will be sadly missed by many neices, nephews, and friends. Mrs. Boccia is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday February 7, 2010 from 7-9p.m. Monday February 8, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine St., at 9:30 a.m. The rite of committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m. Memorial remembrance made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
