Obituary of Mariano Acosta

ACOSTA, Mariano Surrounded by his loving family, Mariano passed away peacefully at the Toronto General Hospital on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Honoria for 59 loving years. Mariano was a cherished father of 9 children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thank you to Dr. Yvonne Ferreia, Dr. Lucey, Dr. I. Macmillan and Dr. H. Kim for their medical care and support. Mariano's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton, on Tuesday, February 2, from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 3 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman St (Church St.), on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m.
