Obituary of Joyce Yvonne Milligan

MILLIGAN, Joyce- Passed away with her loving family by her side on Sunday, January 17th, 2010 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Bruce for 55 years. Cherished mother of Janice and Ken Whitty, Jim and Ann Milligan and Kathryn Milligan. Special grandma of Brianne and Erin, Sarah and Stuart and Caitlyn and Madeline. Dear sister of Norma Carroll, Shirley Neelin, John Augerman, Patricia Walker and Brian Augerman. Joyce is predeceased by her sister Karen Otterdahl and her sister in law Barbara Wright. She will be sadly missed by her brother in law Paul Milligan and his wife Deanna and her brother in law Dr. Jim Wright. Joyce will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was a lifetime member of the May Court Club and President of the Linhaven Auxillary. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Celebration of Joyce's Life will take place on Thursday at 1p.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
