Obituary of John Charles Roberts

ROBERTS, John Charles Peacefully with the love and support of his family on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at the Hamilton General Hospital in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Diane (nee Wolski). Loving father of Richie (Deanna) Roberts. Proud Poppa of Olivia. Dear brother of Lillian, Howell (Karen), Betts, Gordon (Ursula) and Henry (Geri) and brother in law of Anne Wolski. Uncle "Pogo" of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Sydney, Katherine, Edwyn, Glenys and William. In accordance with John's wishes cremation has taken place. John's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Friday, January 15, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 10-11:15 am. A celebration of John's life will be held in the funeral home's chapel on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sick Kid's Hospital.
