Obituary of Lawrence Wilfred Hubbard

Hubbard, Lawrence W. - May 10th, 1944 - January 11th, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Larry on Monday January 11th, 2010, in his 65th year. Cherished father of Brad (Lisa), Laura Corcoran (Neil), and their mother Nancy Hubbard. Loving grandpa to Owen, Mason, and Maya. Predeceased by his parents, Patricia Hubbard (Keating), Wilfred Hubbard, and Norman Hubbard. Brother of Carolyn Milson (Robert) and Patricia Hiller (David). Sister-in-law Judith Hubbard, nieces and nephews. He was a retiree from General Motors where he worked for 44 years. His fondest memories were fishing and boating on Lake Muskoka with his family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 13th at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
