Obituary of David MacKenzie

MacKenzie, David: On Sunday December 13, 2009 Peacefully at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in his 84th year. Loving father of David, Will, Robert , Tim, Stan, Carey and Bruce. Cherished grandfather of Kendra, Branden, Jennifer, Julie, Jesse, Steven, Ryan, Christie, Catherine, Lindsay, Kevin, Emily, Sarah, and Alex, and many great grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters Dawn and Shirley, and close friends Bob and Louise Culp. Predeceased by his loving wife Alice. Mr. Mackenzie is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel , 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. Visitations will be Tuesday December 15, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral prayer service will be said at the funeral home on Wednesday December 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
