Obituary of Gladys Irene Quait

Quait, Gladys (nee: Kennedy) On Tuesday November 24, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in her 91st year. Loving mother of Denise (Bill), Eleanor (Norm) Glen (Edith), Eileen (Al), Linda (Les), Harold Jr., Carol (Darcy), Robert, Ken (Maureen), John (Nobuko), Don (Mary Ann). Cherished grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gladys is survived by her sister Marge (John) of Michigan. Predeceased by her husband Harold, and her son Lanny, and granddaughter Riley. The family would like to extend their heatfelt thanks to the many caregivers, nurses, and everyone who has helped our mom over the years. Gladys was a devoted mom, a wonderful grandmother, and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Quait is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines, visiting hours will be held on Thursday November, 26, 2009 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral home o Friday November 27, 2009 at 12 p.m. with interment to follow at Victoria lawn Cemetery. Memorial remembrances made to the C.C.A.C., and the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
