Obituary of May Lillian Gilmore

Gilmore, May Lillian (May 4, 1921,- November 12, 2009) passed away peacefull in her sleep, at Rapelje Lodge, after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her husband Stanley. May is survived by and will be dearly missed by her loving niece Eileen Buckley (Lloyd) as well as many other relatives and friends. As May was such a generous person, she left her estate to be divided between the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society. In keeping with her wishes cremation will take place. May's family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines, on Tuesday November 17, 2009 10 - 11 a.m. with a celebration of May's life to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances made to the NHS - St. Catharines General Hospital, Walker Family Cancer Center, towards new equipment, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
