Obituary of Catherine Pengue

Pengue, Catherine (nee: Black) On Thursday October 29, 2009 surrounded by her loving family at Hospice Niagara, in her 74 th year. Beloved wife of Nino for 53 years. Loving mother of Cornelia (Valentino) Costantini, and Mirella (Remo) Colantoni. Cherished Amma of Alex and Aliscia Costantini and Gamma of Jack Colantoni. Cathy leaves her dear brother Alistair Black of Whiterock B.C. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. With so many friends, Cathy was an amazing people person to whom many called their second mother, a loyal friend to many. The Pengue family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to all staff at Hospice Niagara for their care, love and compassion of Cathy during her stay. Thank you to all of the loving family and friends who displayed their love and support for Cathy. George Darte Funeral Chapel 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines have been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Pengue. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. Visitations will be held on Sunday November 1, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. The Celebration of Cathy's life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday November 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances made to Hospice Niagara would be greatly appreciated by the family.
