Obituary of Gillian Mary Buxton

BUXTON, GILLIAN MARY (nee: Ward) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gillian of Tuesday, October 27th, 2009 at the age of 66, after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Loving and devoted wife for 49 years of Robert. Wonderful mother to Debbie Bowman (Gary), Paul Buxton (Karyn), Alan Buxton (Sally), all of St. Catharines and Anita Valvasori (Joe), of Acton, Ontario. Dedicated grandmother to Nicholas and Alexandra Bowman, Rachael, Robert, Matthew, Hannah,and (Bonus) Claire Buxton and Ava Valvasori. Dearest sister of Jean Ward (Barrie), of Burlington, Ontario. A private family only funeral service will be held at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. followed by cremation. Gillian was an employee of Royal Bank of Canada for 32 years and will be greatly missed. She was a hands-on Grandmother and loved and adored all her eight grandchildren.
