Obituary of Mary Henry

Henry, Mary (nee: Chaikowski) - Peacefully with her family by her side, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, on August 31, 2009 in her 71st year. Loving mother of Don, Tim (Vera), John, and Angie Henry. Beloved Babalu to Derek, Daniel, and Jamie-Lee Henry. Mary is survived by her brother Norman Chaikowski, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Helene, and her parents Dymtro and Anna Chaikowski. Mary was an employee of K-Mart Department Stores where she retired after 14 years. She will be sadly missed by all friends and colleagues. A special thank you to Dr. Nagai for his dedication, knowledge, and compassion to allow our mother to live the life she wanted, right to the end. Mary is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday September 2, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 3, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the N.H.S. Dialysis Unit or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
