Obituary of Betty Margaret June Gable Thompson

THOMPSON, Betty Margaret June Gable Actress, wife, mother, friend. Passed away August 12, 2009. To know her was to laugh with her and love her. Thanks to her caring nurses and staff Larysa, Diane, Lynn and Nancy at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Dearly loved for 57 years by husband Hank, children Michael (Jan), Lisa, Megan (Bob), Shiona (Tedd), and Heidi (Doug) and grandchildren Lauren, Aaron, Kristin and Andrea who will all miss your constant loving guidance and support. Betty's family will receive family and friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., on Friday, August 14th from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, August 15th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening. Funeral Liturgy will take place at Star of the Sea Church, 34 Elgin St., on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow service. If desired, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Red Roof Retreat.
