Obituary of Frances Eleanor Miller

Miller, Frances Eleanor (Fran) Passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday May 2, 2010. Predeceased by her loving husband, Howard A Miller (1970). Fran is survived by her loving sister Jean Hickman, and nieces Sandra (Eric) Henkemans, and Katherine Hickman (Norman Drake) and nephews Peter Hickman (Linda Coblin) and Gary Hickman (Andrea McNeill). She also enjoyed seven great nieces and nephews. Fran was born and educated in Simcoe, On. She worked as a secretary at the Norfolk Fruit Growers for several years until she and Howard moved to Sarnia, and Paris On, They eventually moved to Vineland, On, until Howard's death. Fran took up a career in Real Estate, moved to St. Catharines, On, and eventually formed her own successful company. She was an active member in the Niagara on the Lake Lawn Bowling Club, and enjoyed a very busy and active life until the last few months. Fran is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines, Visiting hours are Thursday May 6, 2010 from 11 am - 1 p.m., with interment to follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Simcoe On.
