Obituary of Rose Anne Howe
Rose Anne Howe (Mucha) - 1927-2025
It is with sadness that Rose's family announces her passing on February 16, 2025 at the age of 97. Rose will be sadly missed by her children, Sandra (Jim Karn), Lynn (Bob Murray), Wendy and Gerry (Sue Conrad); as well as her two grandchildren Summer and Bob. She will also be missed by her sister Lee (Walt Sheppard) and their family. Also missed by her cherished great grandson Brady Schafer. Rose was predeceased by her infant son William and her devoted husband Bill.
Rose was raised on her family farm in Virgil and moved to St Catharines as a teenager to pursue employment. She met Bill, whom she eventually married and started a family with. She was fond of her trips to Las Vegas and always enjoyed a good card game over wine. Rose also worked at Sears and enjoyed the time spent with "The Sears Girls".
The family wishes to thank the stellar team at The Henley House for providing exemplary care during Rose's later years until her passing.
Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held in the spring at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
Rose's wishes were for no floral tributes or and donations made in her name.
