Obituary of Pasqualina Stabile

May 1935 – February 2025

It is with profound sadness and much love that we announce the passing of our dear mother Pasqualina. She died peacefully at her residence after a good life and in recent years a struggle with dementia. A devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend, she will be lovingly remembered by her children Filomena (Charles) Brown and Rosetta (Bradley) McIlravey; grandchildren: Matthew and Natalie; sister-in-law Vincenza and her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Saverio, her cherished grandson Jordan; her brother and sisters: Antonietta D’Elia, Maria D’Elia, Lucia Cristofano, Angelo Felice, and Rosa Felice; her parents Vincenzo and Vincenza.

She was a kind, compassionate person, always volunteering and helping those in need whether they were ill or needed companionship. She never went anywhere empty handed – always bringing along her home baked goods, her sense of humour and her infectious laugh. Thank you to the staff and PSW at Meadows for all the comfort and support they provided to Lina during her stay.

The family will receive friends at George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton Street, St Catharines on Friday, February 14 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm with vigil prayers at 3:00pm. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Alfred’s Church, 272 Vine Street on Saturday, February 15 at 9:30am, with entombment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, 2250 Highway #20, Fonthill.
