He was a loving, caring and devoted father to his daughters Diane, (Maurizio) Stephanie (Rob) Joanne (Vaughan) and former son-in-law, Frank. Loving and caring grandfather of Matthew, Kristina,  Anthony, Serena, Sara and Andrew. John was born in St. Catharines to his predeceased parents John and Bronislawa Antonczyk SR. He was a loving brother predeceased by Helen and his brother-in-law, Walter Swol. John and Grazina travelled to John's favourite island, Hawaii, many times and also to the islands in the Caribbean. John ended up going to a Polka dance in Welland at the polish hall where he asked Grazina to dance, from that day forward they danced every weekend together for the last 58 years with love and respect. John was a very kind and gentle soul who loved to talk and meet new people. He had many close friends that will deeply miss him, including many nieces and nephews especially his niece Kathy who always would remember his birthday every year.
