Obituary of Anne Philomena Wagner
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Wagner, aged 78, on November 28th, 2024, at 3:40 pm.
Anne was born in England and later moved to Ireland with her family before settling in Canada, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and warmth. Anne’s legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and an unwavering love for her family.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Bill Wagner; her beloved son, Glen Wagner; and her cherished granddaughter, Shelby Wagner. Anne will also be fondly remembered by extended family, friends, and all who knew her.
Anne had a deep passion for gardening, and her green thumb was reflected in the vibrant garden she tended to with great care. She also found joy in crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family. Her adventurous spirit, sharp wit, and generosity will be dearly missed.
The family would like to express thanks and gratitude to the kind and compassionate staff at Niagara Health. They did an exceptional job caring for Anne and providing support to the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House and WWF- Canada in Anne’s name.
Rest in peace, Anne. You will forever be in our hearts.
