Obituary of Glynn Gordon Wilkerson

Peacefully, at NHS – St. Catharines Site, on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 91 years of age.  Loving Father of Shawn Wilkerson and his partner Jenny Kaufman.  Proud Papa of Drew and Hannah.  Glynn was an uncle of Kim Tolsma, Chris McLean, Dahlene, Melisa and Gayle McNeill.  He was predeceased by his parents, Doris (nee Glynn) & Harvey and his brother, Bruce.  Glynn was a long time teacher at Lakeport Secondary School where he taught drafting, was a guidance counsellor and coached basketball.  A rower in his younger years, he was passionate about the sport and was a long time member of the St. Catharines Rowing Alumni Association.  A special thanks to the nurses at the NHS for their compassionate care.  He will be missed by his good friends.  The family would like to thank the many friends and family members who provided support and kindness during this difficult time. To honour Glynn’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  Cremation has taken place.
