Obituary of Edward "Ed" John Susa

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Edward Susa on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 48. He leaves behind his parents Mary and Louis, brother Tony (Christine) and will be lovingly remembered by his nephew Nicholas and niece Audrey. Ed will also be missed by his Aunt Josephine (Vinko) Vrhovsek, cousins Helen, John and their families as well as his extended family members in Slovenia. He will be greatly missed by his girlfriend Shona and her family. He is predeceased by his grandparents Ana and Janez Susa and Jozef and Agnes Hocevar. Ed was a proud lifetime member of Lipa Park. The family would like to thank the Staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital and the Hamilton General Hospital for all their care and compassion.

Visitation will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 169 St. Paul Cres., St. Catharines, on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
