Obituary of Marguerite Mary Loretta Foley

Foley, Marguerite Mary Loretta On Monday, April 29, 2002 at St. Catharines General Hospital. Marguerite Foley 86 years of age. Loving wife of the late Terrence (1994). Beloved mother of Patrick, Sharron, and Joseph. Proud grandma of Jim, Mike, Caitlin, Jordon, and Shannon. Sister of Joseph, Morgan, and Lou O'Connell and the late Ralph O'Connell. Sister in law of Jeanie Foley, Lloyd Noble, and Joseph Dwyer. Also remembered by daughter-in-law Glenda Foley. Mrs. Foley was a member of St. Julia's Church, the Catholic Women's League, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society and retired Women's Teachers Association. She retired from the Catholic School Board in 1981 after having taught for over 35 years. She also served as Trustee for 12 years, 1982-1994. Mrs. Foley is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Friday where a Funeral Liturgy without mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. On Saturday a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Lukes Roman Catholic Church, Downeyville, Ont. (Time to be announced) with Rite of Committal will take place at Downeyville Cemetery. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
