Duclos, Elaine (nee Veillette)
Surrounded by her family she went to meet her maker on Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in her 51st year. Elaine leaves behind a wonderful husband Normand. She is survived by her son Morris and his fiancee Crystal, her daughter Sylvie and her husband Dennis Devost, and her son Steven and his fiancee Diane. Also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren, and by her sister Betty Lamure, and by her step mother June Veillette, by her step sisters and step brother, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Joseph Veillette and her mother Lillian Veillette, and by her step mother Anita Veillette, and by her brothers Joseph and Russell. Elaine was sister in law to Gerry and his wife Joanne Duclos, and Giselle Valiquette, and was best friend and close friend to Lynn Maney. A big thanks to our guardian angel Bobby.
Elaine is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Saturday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church at 10am. Rite of Committal will take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours Thursday 7-9pm and Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7:45pm. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
