Obituary of Dorothy Duffy

Duffy, Dorothy Peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. 87 years of age. Loving wife of the late Al Duffy (1982). Beloved mother of Anne (Harry) Sheppard, Peggy (Tony) Mambella, Betty Grosz, Patsy (Jim) MaGarrey, and Jim (Carol) Duffy, and Debbie (Dave) Greenfield. Proud Nan of her 18 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Dear sister of George Blyth, and Patricia Judson. Dorothy was one of 15 children who immigrated to Canada from Scotland with her parents in 1924. "Mom lived a long full life and those who loved her will remember her marvellous sense of humour, her love of singing and dancing and her great sense of family." A private family service was held at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. Cremation. Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
