Obituary of Joyce Kretz

KRETZ, JOYCE (James) Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday January 21, 2003, at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in her 75th year. Survived by her loving husband Adalbert (Bert). Devoted mother of 3 sons, Wayne and wife Susan, Mark and wife Marsha, Bruce and wife Ingrid. Also survived by her loving sister Carol Ann and her fiance Al of Ottawa. Dearly missed by Lois Press. Proud grandmother of Lisa, Wayne, Adam, Sarah, Ryan, Andrea, Alex, Nathan and great grandmother of Cody, Kelsey and Jacob. Joyce was the 9th Cub Pack Scout leader for several years and long time employee of Avondale Stores. Our mom, Joyce is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on at 10:00am. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours areThursday 7-9pm and Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7:30pm. Memorial remembrances to the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to all the hospital caregivers during mom's final days.
