ALLEN, Sharon Ann (nee Franjesvic) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, in the comfort of their home on Tuesday June 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Mike (2013). She will be fondly remembered by her sisters Madeleine (the late Neal) Jackson, Penni (the late David) Hammond, Joan (the late Donald) Vallee, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Peter French (1973) and Kathleen (nee Rowden) Rossini (2003), her brothers Peter Gerald (1934), Ronald (1986) and grandson Terry (2018). She formed many friendships along the way and had kept most of them, even dating back to her elementary school days. She went back to work when she was 49 years old. She worked for the Red Cross for nearly a decade. She enjoyed her work immensely and visited her former clients long after she retired. Sharon grew up in the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria parish, but after she married moved to the north end and spent the rest of her life at St. Alfred's parish. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday June 19, 2025 at 11 am at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, where she will be reunited with her beloved husband. In memory of Sharon, memorial contributions may be made to The Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation (Juravinski Cancer Centre), and would be appreciated. At Sharon's request, flowers will be respectfully declined. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St, St. Catharines.
