Obituary of David Douglas Shaw

SHAW, David Douglas - Passed away peacefully at the Welland County General Hospital on Saturday June 7, 2025 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of the late Alice (nee Hapman, 2002) and cherished father of Carolyn, Christina, Stephen. Loving brother of Joanne, Donna, Suzanne, Paul and the late Karen. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends as a hard-working man who loved to fish and watch the boats pass in the Weland Canal. Friend of Bill W. Friends are invited to join the family at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, visiting Wednesday June 11, 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held at 12 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow with interment to take place at a later date in Victoria Lawn Cemetery, where he will be reunited with his beloved wife.
