Obituary of Joyce Mae Bernais

January 2, 1942-May 21, 2025

With Heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Joyce Mae Bernais(Hallett) at the age 83 .  Loving wife to Andrew Bernais, cherished mother to David (Theresa), Loving grandmother to Michael, Matthew and Daniela. 

Predeceased by her brothers Edward, David, Fred, Bruce and  Dennis, lovingly remembered by her brother Bill and many nieces and nephews. Joyce was born in St. Catharines, ON to the late William G. and Gladys Ralph Hallett.

We want to thank the staff at West Park Health Centre for being loving and caring towards Joyce.

The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St.on Monday, May 26 from 9am. Final tribute for Joyce will follow in the Ceremony Room at 11am. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
