Obituary of Olga Maria Berardi
On Thursday, May 1 2025, Olga Maria Berardi was welcomed into the arms of The Lord at the age of 88. Now reunited with her beloved husband, Ernesto Berardi and will forever be remembered by her children, Deacon Frank (Teresa) Berardi, John (Christine) Berardi, Sandra (David) Winship and Laura (Ayaz) Jafri; grandchildren, Stephanie, Natalie (Mark), Frank, Amanda (Adrian), Gregory, Jennifer (Ron), Michael, Robyn, Katie, Joseph, Sarah, Noah, Aaron, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Jack, Oscar, Felix, Hannah, Autumn, Memphis, Kase, Scarlett, Millie, Ava, Natasha and Mikayla; Olga will be missed by her Sister in law Lois Marotta and her many extended family members. She was predeceased by parents, Giovanni and Giovannina Marotta and her grandson, Adam, sister Linda and brother Nicolino.
Olga’s passion in life was her family; she loved to cook for them and her friends. She was talented in knitting and playing Scopa with her grandchildren.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. The family welcomes guests for a time of visitation on Monday, May 5th from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm with vigil prayers at 3:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 6 2025 at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria beginning at 10:00am followed by Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
