Obituary of Ryan John Edward Patterson
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ryan John Edward Patterson on Tuesday April 22, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 12, 1979, Ryan lived a life marked by courage, selflessness and love. Ryan leaves behind to mourn him, his wife Rebekah Goegan and their children, Zachary and Emily. His children were the light of his life and his angels. Ryan will be lovingly remembered by his parents David and Olga Patterson, his sister Adrina Patterson and her husband Michael Van Buren. Ryan will also be missed by Rebekah’s family especially her parents Dave and Lise Goegan.
Ryan’s legacy is not only in the lives he directly touched but also in the example he set for living with integrity and leading with love. Through his life and in his death our Ryan showed us what it means to be a warrior of God.
You fly Ryan. Fly high with the angels to heaven where pain is no more and you will finally be at peace.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Central United Church, 12 Young Street, Welland, Ontario with visitation preceding the service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
