Obituary of Gail Louise Goodman
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gail Louise Goodman on Monday, April 21 2025 at the age of 85. Forever remembered by her loving children, Robin and Robert; her grandchildren Jessica and Michael (Ruth) and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Christopher and Charlotte.
Gail had worked for General Motors for many years until her retirement in ’93. She was a fan of golf, often playing with her Women’s League and her grandson, Michael.
The family wish to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Upper Canada Lodge who had given Gail exceptional care the last 12 years before moving to Linhaven where she was fortunate to receive care by many of the same staff.
In keeping with Gail’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and the family welcomes guests for a time to Celebrate Gail’s Life on Sunday, April 27th between 2:00 – 4:00pm in the funeral home. If desired, please consider making donations in memory of Gail to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and the Canadian Cancer Society.
