Obituary of Jacobus (Jack) Van Wyngaarden

With great sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Jacobus (Jack) Van Wyngaarden on Saturday Apr 19 at the age of 96. He was born in Den Haag, Holland in 1928 and emigrated to Canada in 1952. Dearly missed by his beloved wife Bette whom he married November 29, 1952. Blessed with 3 children Don (Laura), Linda (Doug) and Anne (Tony), nine grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Jack was an avid squash player and sailor. Winters were spent in Madeira Beach Florida and summers at the cottage in Coboconk, Kawartha Lakes. Jack and Bette enjoyed a long happy life with many travels around the world. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
