Obituary of Catherine Elizabeth Avery
CATHERINE ELIZABETH (LIBBY) AVERY
In loving memory of Libby (Catherine Elizabeth) Avery who passed away from cardiac arrest on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 48 years of age. Libby was the beloved daughter of Bette Avery and the late Keith Avery (Dec. Sept 16, 2024) sister to Erin (spouse James) McNeill and Christa (spouse Matthew) O'Kane, and brother Will (spouse Lauren) Avery and dear auntie to her nephew Owen Avery and niece Iris Avery. Libby was much loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins and her friends Catherine, Samantha, Jessica and Chris and their children Gray, Weston and Ruby. Predeceased by her dog Koko (Dec. Feb 2025) and much missed by Tubby and Cali cats and the many rescue pets she loved and nurtured. Despite her physical adversities, Libby's spiritual life and love of Christ was strong. She lived a life of giving unto others - friends, children and animals alike - even when she herself was suffering. "Let the Children Come unto me. For such is the kingdom of heaven" (Matthew 19:14). Rest in peace and rise in glory, dear Libby. We are profoundly saddened by your loss.
