Sheana Anne Monks (nee Hendry, Chesham, Munck) July 02, 1947- April 06, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected, but peaceful passing of Sheana in hospital surrounded by family.
We know that Sheana will be warmly welcomed by her late husband John Monks, her parents David and Janet Hendry and her younger brother David Hendry
Sheana will be deeply missed by her ever loyal and constant companion, Gorm who rescued Sheana in 2020 during COVID
Sheana will be held lovingly in the hearts of her children Kathryn Masseo(Larry), Jonathan Chesham (Sandy), younger siblings Irene Hendry, Robert Hendry (David Morris), grandchildren Kaitlyn Masseo (Spencer Charles) , Lauren Masseo, Jake Meldrum, and Alyssa Chesham, along with many cousins across Canada and the UK
Special thanks to the staff at NHS St Catharines and Darte Funeral Home for their compassion and caring that allowed Sheana to pass on with comfort, peace and dignity
As per Sheana’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private family internment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Sheana’s honour to MS Canada, Canadian Wildlife Federation, Nature Conservatory of Canada or the charity of your choice.
