It is with a heavy heart that I share my thoughts on my brother-in-law, John. I have had the privilege of knowing John my entire life, as he was already a part of our family when I was born.
John had a way of making everyone around him feel at ease with his unique sense of humor. He was truly one of a kind, always bringing laughter. I was fortunate enough to spend time with him during our visit last summer, and I will always be grateful for those moments, for they have become precious memories that I will hold close.
As I reflect on the wonderful times we had together, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for having known such a remarkable and hardworking man.
I share in the grief of his passing, and my heart goes out to my dear sister Mona, to Jane, Nick & Laura, to Evan, Julia, and Collin. You are all in my thoughts, and I send my deepest sympathies with warm hugs as we navigate this difficult time.

To Mona, Jane, Nicholas, Laura and the Nassif family, Nicole and I offer our sincerest condolences for your loss. After losing touch with John for about 55 years, it was great to reconnect about 3 years ago. The short time we had together allowed us to catch up and reminisce about our high school time together. We were looking forward to many more fun times together but God had other plans and he needed you elsewhere. We will miss you but we will never forget you.

Mona, Nick, Jane and family....
I'm so sorry about your loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I'm glad to have known him, you've always known that you were like a second set of parents for me.
I remember the first time I met him... vividly... to this day! He was laying out back with hit father on out back when you lived on Royal Manor. I was so scared. Jane was laughing at me while he asked me a million questions in that serious way that he spoke. I didn't know what to think! Years later after I cracked the code and I learned how to tease him back. I loved him very much!
Know that he is now at peace and is re-united with his family in heaven, and that he will be watching over us.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous rendons hommage à John, qui nous a quittés cette semaine. John était un homme d’une générosité sans limite et d’une chaleur humaine qui touchait tous ceux qui avaient la chance de le connaître. Son accueil était toujours empreint de bienveillance et de convivialité, nous faisant sentir comme des rois à chacune de nos visites.
Sa capacité à ouvrir son cœur et sa maison, à partager des moments simples mais précieux, restera gravée dans nos mémoires. John savait créer des souvenirs empreints de douceur et de sincérité, laissant derrière lui un héritage d’amour et de bonté. Je n’oublierai jamais nos multiples conversations que ce soit chez lui ou en voiture, car il avait à cœur de nous faire connaître son coin de pays et aussi de partager son bagage immense d'expériences, professionnel et quelquefois plus personnel. Un homme charmant, communicateur et sincère.
Nous souhaitons adresser nos plus sincères sympathies à Mona, sa tendre épouse et sœur de Michelle, ainsi qu'à Nick et Jane, leurs enfants adorés, et à Collin, Evan et Julia, ses petits-enfants chéris. Nos pensées accompagnent également les parents, amis et tous ceux qui ressentent aujourd’hui cette perte immense.
