John's passing was deeply sad and shocking news. Our hearts go out to you and your family during this difficult time. John was a wonderful person and we have great memories of the time at the cottage. Donation to the Humane Society was an obvious choice as Tuuli will miss John's dog biscuit treats.

I first met John when he would come into Pie Guys for his slice after a round of golf. He was never in a rush and always said leave it in a bit extra. This gave us time to chit chat. He was a kind soul and myself and other staff always looked forward to seeing him throughout the week. (Sometimes more than once) The Pie Guys staff send our love and prayers to his family. He will be truly missed.

To Nicole and Family: Please accept our sincerest condolences on the passing of John. Over the past years we looked forward to seeing John and Nicole walking around the block, especially more often in the past 2 years due to Nicole's knee surgery. John always liked to stop and chat, usually about golf, discussing his game of the day. We always looked forward to those talks. So sorry to hear about John. He was a great guy. A fun memory from the past is those nice warm summer nights, when all of the neighbourhood kids played baseball either at our house or Hetheringtons.
